PESHAWAR: The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel foiled a terror bid as they recovered a bomb which was later defused by bomb disposal squad (BDS).

Police said that a bomb was found near CNG station in Chuna Bhatti locality of Phandu in the provincial capital Peshawar. Bomb Disposal Squad was called in which reached the scene and defused the bomb.

Police said that it saved massive destruction as the bomb could have resulted in causalities and property losses if it had exploded but in time action foiled the bid.
