PESHAWAR: The bomb disposal squad (BDS) prevented a major terror bid by recovering and defusing a bomb weighing four kilogram here on Friday.
Head of BDU, Shafqat Malik said that unknown miscreants had planted a bomb weighing 4kg by roadside in Gulbahar are of the provincial capital Peshawar.
The BDS personnel reached the scene and defused the bomb preventing major property and human losses.
Meanwhile, the LEAs personnel cordoned off the area after the recovery of bomb and conducted search operation but no arrest could be made.
