Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police thwarted terrorists’ attack on local police station in Mardan city.
Reports said a suicide bomber on motorcycle with explosive hazards was moving towards City police station but on-duty personnel gunned down the attacker.
DPO Mardan Faisal Shehzad said firing of police officials resulted explosion of attacker’s suicide jacket which also injured two personnel.
The wounded officials were shifted to local hospital for treatment.
