BAHAWALPUR: A teenage school student was gunned down over a minor dispute by a bus security guard here in Khanqa Sharif area on Monday.
Police and rescue sources said that the bus security guard had developed a dispute over boarding the vehicle with a group of students and later he shot at 16-year-old Fahad, killing him on the spot.
Local police reached the crime scene and managed to arrest bus guard.
Enraged students and locals blocked the National Highway at Bahawalpur-Ahmedpur Shariq section in protest.
