Taliban condemn US attacks on Kabul airport

KABUL: The Taliban have strongly condemned the US attacks on Kabul airport.
According to the foreign news agency, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah condemned the US airstrikes on Kabul and said that if there was any threat to the US, we would have been informed.
In an interview with Chinese media, Zabihullah Mujahid said that he strongly condemned the US airstrikes on Kabul as civilians have been killed in the Kabul attack.
“It is illegal to carry out unilateral attacks in other countries, but if there was a threat to the United States, they would inform us,” he said.
It may be recalled that six rockets was fired at the airport from a vehicle in Kabul.
Meanwhile, foreigners and Afghan nationals having travel documents have been allowed to leave Afghanistan after August 31.
The Taliban have assured that foreigners and Afghans possessing travel documents will be allowed to leave Afghanistan after August 31.
The Taliban have assured 100 countries and in this connection they have issued a joint statement.
The 100 countries which have been assured evacuation by the Taliban include the US, Britain, France, Germany, NATO and the European Union. However, Russia and China are not on the list.
