KABUL: The Taliban have issued strong instructions on aerial firing in Kabul and other cities.
A statement issued by Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that all officials in Kabul and other provinces had been instructed to immediately arrest and disarm those opening aerial firing.
Zabihullah Mujahid said that the officials have been directed to expel the shooters from the cities as well.
He said that instructions have been issued to the police chiefs and intelligence officials to identify and punish the perpetrators.
It may be recalled that after the Taliban took over the Panjshir Valley, there were conflicting reports of casualties in aerial firing in Kabul and other cities.
