ISLAMABAD: Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has arrived in Islamabad for two-day official visit in which he will discuss wide-ranging talks with the Pakistani leadership to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Emomali Rahmon is given a warm welcome with twenty-one gun salute and guard of honor on Thursday in Islamabad.
On his arrival, he was warmly greeted at Noor Khan Airbase by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Others present on the occasion to welcome the distinguished guest included Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.
Twenty-one gun salute boomed out when the Tajik President alighted from his aircraft.
