KARACHI: Pakistan women pick up thumping win against Bangladesh women in the first T-20 match on Wednesday in Karachi.
Bangladesh fell 30 runs short from victory with loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Pakistan’s win was powered by Bismah Maroof’s 65 runs as Bangladesh could pile up only 95 runs against Pakistan’s 124.
Javeria Khan and Bismah Maroof’s knock helped Pakistan cross hundred, otherwise it could not have been possible as the other players did not even manage to reach double-figures. Pakistan had won the toss and chose to bat first.
