NEW DELHI: Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani has excused to attend Eid Milan Party over invitation of Pakistan High Commission, Indian media reported on Tuesday.
Indian media reports said that All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) chairman Syed Ali Geelani boycotted Eid Milan Party to be held on July 21 by Pakistan High Commission in India.
He said that he wanted to protest over neglecting Kashmir dispute in the meeting held between Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
It should be mentioned here that Indian and Pakistani PMs had held an important meeting on sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) organised in Ufa – Russia but unfortunately Kashmir dispute had not came under discussion.
