KARACHI: A suspect arrested in the murder case of Karachi University professor Waheed-ur-Rehman was freed on Monday over ‘lack of evidence regarding his involvement in the murder.
According to details, police presented a report in Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday which says that the suspect Sami-uz-Zaman was released as no evidence suggesting his involvement in the murder was found.
The report further states that no other person was arrested while no witness came up to record his/her statement in the case.
