ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday resumed hearing of the Panama Leaks case.
Cheif Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali is heading a larger bench to probe the case.
Justice Azmat observed that the matter related to dependency of Maryam Nawaz is not yet resolved. Where does she live and what is her residential address, he questioned.
The prime minister’s counsel Salman Butt argued that the prime minister does not need to reveal his tax files.
During the hearing Justice Asif Khosa said that we do not give a verdict without legal evidence. “This is a great defence that my father knows and I don’t.”
“You should rather say I don’t know how the money was paid,” Justice Ameer Hani Muslim said.
