At least 10 people sustained injuries while six persons including two attackers were killed post two suicide blasts rocked football ground in a high school of Lower Dir district in Kurram Agency of Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on Wednesday (today).

Terrorists carried out attack on a high school play ground where a football match was underway between two local team, killing at least two and injuring 10 so far in the incident while later death toll rose up to four as two more succumbed to injuries during treatment.

Political administration said that law enforcers shot down two suicide bombers, however, 10 persons were injured by the blasts and gunfire. More than 100 visitors were present in the ground where terrorists carried out bomb explosions and opened gunfire on the players and visitors, officials said.

Levies personnel made rapid retaliation by killing a suicide bomber on the spot.

The injured persons were shifted to the tehsil’s hospital while some amongst wounded were reportedly suffering sensitive condition.
