TRIPOLI: Five security personnel were killed and eight others were injured in a suicide attack on a security check post in Misrata city, Libya.
Security officials alleged the Islamic State (IS) for the suicide attack that claimed five lives in Misrata city on Sunday.
Libyan official said that a suicide bomber exploded his car into the main security checkpoint west of Misrata. Several cars and nearby shops were also damaged in the blast. He said that Islamic State had taken the responsibility of the attack.
