Islamabad: Successful talks were held between the TLP and the government, the interior minister confirmed.
In a video messege, Sheikh Rasheed said that a first phase of successful talks were held.
He added that the TLP had released the abducted policemen.
The police had also withdrawn from the earlier position at the Yateem Khana Chowk, the interior minister said.
He said that the second round of the talks will be held on Monday morning (today).
Rasheed said that the Punjab government had held the dialogue with the banned TLP. He hoped that the next round of talks would also be successful.
