LAHORE: Naib Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch on Saturday said that the state system is collapsing due to corruption in the ruling coalition.

He added that people have been humiliated at the hands of police and bureaucracy.

Talking to the members of Jamaat-e-Islami Youth, Baloch said that the poor and middle class are suffering due to inflation, unemployment and recession. Corruption and bribery are on the rise in all institutions of the country.

He further said that the government had proved NAB as controversial and accountability as revenge.

The government is helpless in front of mafia, which is creating crisis of sugar, flour and other essential commodities and petroleum products.

He added that Rs25 billion is being looted from the pockets of masses daily.

Liaquat Baloch further said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move against the state of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019 is condemnable.
