Standard and Poor gives Pakistan B positive

WASHINGTON: American financial services company Standard and Chartered has revised Pakistani GDP growth projection for 2015-17 to 4.6 percent from 3.8 percent. The company also revised Pakistan long term “B minus” credit rating to positive from stable.

The Standard and Poor said that Pakistan’s economy was producing positive indicators and its financial position became stronger. P&R said in a statement that inflation had declined and economy grew up in the country.
