Sri Lanka win 2nd ODI by 2 wickets against Pakistan

PALLEKELE: Sri Lanka on Wednesday won the 2nd One-day International match by 2 wickets against Pakistan in Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan set Sri Lanka 288 runs target to win the match. Pakistani team scored 287 runs on 8 wickets. Sri Lanka achieved the target in 48.1 overs. Sri Lankan opener Perera scored 68 runs. While Dilshan scored 47 runs and Pathirana 33 runs. Dinesh Chandimal scored 48 runs and remained not out.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan scored 287 runs on 8 wickets. Captain Azhar Ali scored 79 runs and Rizwan made 52 runs in the match.

Sri Lankan bowlers Malinga and Pathirana grabbed two wickets each. While Pakistan’s Rahat Ali took3 wickets and Mohammad Hafeez grabbed two wickets.
