ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday said that solid evidences needed to take action against Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
While addressing a press conference, he invited Sindh government, Mustafa Kamal and others to share the evidences with the Federal Investigation (FIA).
The interior minister said that they had formed a committee to probe according to the Sarfaraz Merchant’s statement. He added that Sarfaraz Merchant summoned to record his testimony before the FIA team. He said that they would send FIA team to British to take Merchant’s testimony about money laundering, if he refused to come in Pakistan.
Nisar said that Money laundering case is being run in British court and the courts do not give verdicts on only statements. He said that the committee would complete its proceedings within two weeks and all the finding would be public and added that the government would not let the case go in vain.
