LAHORE: Smog towers will be installed in Lahore to control smog in the city.
The Environment Commission has recommended to to install 15 smog towers at various places in the country’s cultural capital.
Smog towers work as air purifiers as they contain multiple layers of air filters. The air filters clean pollution form the air.
Lahore has become the 20th most polluted city in the world. Currently, the country’s major industrial cities including Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi are facing the challenge of smog.
