TOKYO: A small plane crashed into residential area in Tokyo, local media reported on Sunday.
According to Japan’s public broadcaster NHK said three people were involved in the accident and one of them had been rescued, but offered few other details.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or casualties
At least three houses and two cars were on fire in the capital’s residential district of Chofu, and the crash also damaged the roofs of other houses nearby.
Television footage showed firefighters battling the inferno, and the remains of the plane’s tail.
