QUETTA: Unidentified gunmen Friday shot dead six people of the same family including ex- Levies Hawaldar in Proom area of Panjgur district.
According to Levies sources, the victims were present at their house when armed assailants entered the house and opened indiscriminately fire at them and fled from the scene.
As a result, six people died on the spot after receiving multiple bullet wounds.
Levies team on information reached the site and shifted the bodies to district headquarter hospital where the victims were identified as ex-Hawaldar Abdul Malik s/o Abdul Razak, and his three sons, Muhammd Amir s/o Abdul Malik, Abdul Razak s/o Abdul Malik, Saddam s/o Abdul Malik, Zareef and Mullah Gul Mohammad.
The bodies were handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities. The Levies sources said that the incident of firing might be an old enmity.
