At least six persons were killed while 47 sustained injuries in clashes during Local Bodies’ election across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that exhibited worst example of mismanagement, poor security measures and conflicts between rival groups.
Three people were killed in Charsada, two in Dera Ismail Khan and one person lost life in Kohat during the election day.
Three persons including general councilors were injured by firing between two rival groups during vote counting in Abbottabad.
KP police said that 30 persons were injured in different incidents on polling stations in Peshawar which were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
