SARGODHA: As another child sex abuse scam surfaced in Sargodha, just days after the country’s another biggest child abuse scandal in Jaranwala brought condemnations, police on Thursday apprehended six suspects involved in raping and filming children in Sargodha.
As per details, families of the victims while demanding speedy justice for the victims of the heinous and barbaric crime lodged a case against the influentials of the area after obtaining videos of horrific child sexual abuse in Sargodha’s Jhal Chakian area.
The culprits after sexually abusing and filing children blackmailed the parents of the children.
According to police, the pedophile gang was yesterday preparing CDs of all the videos at a mobile shop when a citizen after identifying the children in the videos informed the police.
Police taking action on the information detained six accused.
Police further said that other accused of the case would be arrested soon.
Earlier, residents of the area on Wednesday filed a first information report (FIR) after obtaining videos of horrific child sexual abuse.
Police officials said that the alleged pedophile gang sexually abused underage boys while holding them at gunpoint, filmed them in the process, and uploaded the captured footages to social media.
