LAHORE: At least six people died and several others were injured in separate road accidents in various cities of Punjab on Friday.
Police said that two people died and two others were critically injured when a trailer and a car collided head-on in jurisdiction of Tarkhani police station in Faisalabad.
Rescue sources said that one labourer died and two others were seriously wounded and shifted to THQ Liaquatpur when a tractor trolley turned turtle due to over speeding at Barri Morr in Rahim Yar Khan.
A motorcyclist youth died when a reckless driven tractor trolley knocked down a bike at Laliyan-Vinoka Road in Chiniot.
One person died and two others were injured in collision between truck and a car near Jung Marriala area of Khanewal.
An over speeding truck knocked down a motorcycle at Muzaffargarh Road in Multan killing the bike rider on the spot. The truck driver fled from scene of the accident.
Meanwhile, more than two dozen others were injured and hospitalized in separate road accidents across the province and many among them were stated to be in critical condition.
