Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq on Tuesday met French ambassador to Pakistan Martine Dorance and expressed condolence over major loss of precious lives in Paris attacks.
Sirajul Haq has visited French embassy in the federal capital Islamabad today where he met ambassador Martine Dorance. He said that JI stood against all faces of terrorism. Siraj said that terrorism has no religion or nationality. He added that Islam is the religion of peace and humanity.
He said that Muslims, mosques and Islamic centers could not be affected on basis of worst shape of terrorism exhibited in Paris attacks. He added that safeguarding rights of Muslims residing in Europe is responsibility of international community.
On the occasion, various ambassadors of foreign countries including Bosnia and Philippine, as well as Pakistani politicians also met JI Ameer Sirajul Haq. JI director of foreign affairs Abdul Ghaffar Aziz and Saleem Saifullah were also present in the meeting.
