LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has left for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
He is scheduled to return home after Eidul Fitr. In the absence of the JI Ameer, the JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch will work as acting Ameer. He took oath of his new responsibilities at a simple ceremony held at the Mansoora Committee room. Large number of JI workers besides senior party leaders were present at the ceremony.
