HUNZA: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Wednesday stressed upon the national leadership to devise a joint strategy to avoid terror incidents just like Quetta massacre.
While addressing a reception ceremony given by Shaikh Mirza Ali Baig in Hunza, Haq said that security institutions should also be taken on board while devising the joint strategy against terrorism.
The JI leader said that after a short pause of Army Public School massacre, Quetta blast mourned the whole nation again. He said that India openly came against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He asked the government to left the policy of compromise and give curt reply to India. Haq said that Pakistan should inform the international community about the Indian terrorism.
He said that Quetta blast demanded to expedite the National Action Plan. The JI leader said that India had launched an open war against CPEC and its terrorists moving across the country without any hurdle.
He said Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) network could not be eliminated from the country despite detention of Kulbhushan Yadav.
Haq said our rulers reluctant to talk about Indian intervention and terrorism due to US pressure. He said US and Israeli intelligences agencies supporting RAW. The JI leader said that current situation should be analyzed in the context of Us terrorist Matthew Craig Barrett detention in Islamabad.
He urged the government to complete CPEC as soon as possible and resolve provinces’ concerns. Haq demanded of the government to resolve the issues of Hunza and Gilgit-Baltistan. He warned that anti CPEC forces could use the people of Hunza and Gilgit-Baltistan for their evil plans, if issues were not resolved. The JI leader said that Gilgit-Baltistan had capacity to produce 40,000 mega Watt electricity but the government was heading to other expensive projects so as to open new doors of commission.
Haq said that the main issue of the country was unjustified division of resources. He said that the rulers preferred personal interest over national interest. The JI leader said that development projects and resources should be diverted to underprivileged areas. He said if China could make CPEC a source of development for its backward areas, so why not Pakistan?
