Sirajul Haq demands judicial commission to probe police action against TLP workers

Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has demanded formation of a judicial commission to investigate the current situation emerged after clashes between police and TLP workers in Lahore.

Addressing a press conference here, Siraj-ul-Haq said that the intention of the government was not right from the beginning.

He demanded that a judicial commission be set up to look into all the incidents and that all political and religious leaders be taken into confidence.

Siraj-ul-Haq has convened a meeting of the National Solidarity Council and Ulema in Mansoora today.

It may be recalled that in Lahore, police and Rangers conducted an operation at Yateem Khana Chowk to disperse the occupants.
