Siraj ul Haq writes letter to Ban Ki Moon over judicial punishments in Egypt

LAHORE:  Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief  Siraj ul Haq has appealed to United Nations to play role in stopping Judicial punishments in Egypt.

Siraj ul Haq has written letter to UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon and showed concerns over rewarding capital punishment to 1707 people in Egypt by the court.

He wrote in the letter that 41,000 people have been sent to jail in a year over baseless allegations.

JI Chief further said that taking revenge on Dr Mohammed Morsi and former ruling party are injustice and against all the laws.

He appealed that UN will should play role in stopping the judicial punishments in the country.
