Siraj-ul-Haq meets Mufti Rafi Usmani; discuss matters of mutual interest

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq visited Darul Uloom Korangi and met its administrator Mufti Rafi Usmani.

During the meeting, Siraj-ul-Haq inquired about the health of Mufti Rafi Usmani and both the religious leaders discussed the matters of mutual interest.

Both the leaders agreed upon to express unity of Muslim Ummah in this crucial time and stressed upon to unite at single point of view regardless of any sect and faction.

JI Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq also invited the Mufti Rafi Usmani to visit central party office in Mansoora, Lahore.

On the occasion, Mufti Rafi Usmani stressed upon for introducing Islamic laws and teachings in the educational curriculum in a proper way, adding that youth should be taught accordingly.

He further said that the Ulema from all schools of thought were united in the past in time of need and also took a bold stance over national issues and crises.

JI leaders including Hafiz Naeem, Barjees Ahmed, Muslim Pervez, Abdul Wahab, Zahid Askari and others were also present on the occasion.
