ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq has appreciated Turkish President’s pro- Islam address to parliament’s joint session and said it was a clear message and initiative for the people of Pakistan and Muslim Ummah.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan calling Islam real strength and said Muslims would have to eradicate all means of exploitation from sectarianism to ethnic discrimination spreading among the Islamic nations.
The President also backed Pakistan’s stance over Kashmir, Sirajul Haq said while talking to media outside parliament.
Sirajul Haq said Turkish President is devoted for to enforce Islamic law in Turkey. Pakistani leaders should learn something from Erdogan, he added.
Pakistan was created in the name of Islam but our ruler are only trying to make anti-Islam powers happy, he said adding that they are removing stories of our Islamic heroes and Jihad from the curriculum.
He said the Turkish people are successful, prosper and developed because they foiled all attempts against Islam and they are devoted to restore ‘Khilafat’ in their country.
Erdogan messaged Pakistani rulers to bow head before the Allah Almighty instead of brandishing their selves as slaves of West, Sirajul Haq said.
He further said Erdogan’s stance over terrorism is very clear. Pakistan and Islamic world are effected with terrorism and west is behind all the terror activities.
After losing the battle in ground of evidence, the west has imposed an unannounced war over Muslims, he added.
The Turkish president won the hearts of the nation after backing Pakistan’s stance over Kashmir, Senator Sirajul Haq said.
He further said Erdogan also set an example for Pakistani rulers that they should leave cowardly and apologetic stance over Kashmir and take bold stance over the issue.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer also appreciated Erdogan’s announcement for educating 500 Pakistani students seeking their Ph.D. degrees which would provide them chance to hail their country’s name around the world.
