JI warns of laying siege to punjab assembly

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq said on Tuesday that the government had nothing to give to railway coolies (porters).

He said there are less than 2,000 coolies across the country.

Speaking about the recent inquiry report on wheat and sugar crisis, the JI chief said that this was not the first scandal of its nature as the same cases had been reported in the past governments too.

He said that ration had been arranged for the coolies as the train operation was suspended in the country.

Siraj said the failed government was not giving protection to the frontline doctors.
