LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq, has called upon the Muslim world to forge unity in its ranks in order to foil the conspiracies of the forces of Kufr and also to make joint struggle to end the enemy occupation on its resources.
Addressing the Pakistani community in Holy Makkah, he said that nature had blessed the Muslim world with unlimited resources. The Muslims possessed largest oil reserves in the world. The number of young men in the Muslim states was many times more than the youth in Europe and the western countries. He said that the west was a society of the aged people and besides, human values were crumbling in the west.
Sirajul Haq said, “Allah had made us part of the Ummah of His last Prophet and this Ummah was destined to be successful in this world as well as in the hereafter”.
He said Allah Almighty had promised victory and glory to His sincere believers and His word would prove true under all circumstances.
The JI chief said that Pakistan was passing through the most critical period of her history. Corrupt and self seeking rulers had built places for themselves and their coming generations through ill gotten money whereas the general masses were denied two times meals.
He said that certain elements were conspiring to fail the public movement against corruption but their efforts would fail. He said that the JI drive against corruption would enter the second phase after Eid.
Sirajul Haq said we want indiscriminate accountability of all and our sole aim is that the ill gotten wealth of the Pakistanis lying in foreign banks should be brought back to the country and spent on the welfare of the masses.
