KARACHI: The educational institutions for grades IX and above opened from today in Sindh.
In this connection, the Sindh education department issued a notification. The notification said that the educational institutions will open with strict observance of the Covid-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) from today (Monday).
It added that schools and educational institutions for grades IX and above will open from June 7.
Teachers have been given a two-week time to get themselves vaccinated against Covid. According to the notification, legal action will be taken against the teachers who failed to get shot of vaccine.
Earlier, in a tweet, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the provincial task force had decided to reopen educational institutions from Monday.
