SHIKARPUR: Police on Saturday claimed to have killed two wanted dacoits in an encounter that took place in Dewal Marfani area of Shikarpur.
According to the police, the dacoit Nazroo Narejo and Sarwar Narejo were the most wanted dacoits.
Two policemen were killed and SHO Hidayatullah was injured in the shootout between criminals and police.
Injured SHO has been admitted at hospital for medical treatment.
Government of Sindh had announced Rs. 20 million head money for Nazroo Narejo.
He was involved in scores of kidnapping for ransom, robberies and other heinous crimes in Sindh and Balochistan provinces, police sources said.
