KARACHI: The Provincial Chief of Jamat-i-Islami (JI), Dr. Meraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, has rejected the Sindh budget for the fiscal 2016-17.
In a statement here on Saturday, he was of the view that no steps have been taken to improve the lives of the common man.
JI leader alleged that new avenues for corruption have been opened in the Sindh budget.
He also accused that those at the helm of affairs were filling their pockets.
Dr. Meraj pointed out that Sindh is rich in natural resources such as gas, coal and petrol but the people of the province are living the lives of poverty and are deprived of basic facilities of health.
