KARACHI: The Sindh government has challenged new delimitation of constituencies in the province by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday in Sindh High Court (SHC).

The application has been filed in the high court by secretary local government Sindh as local government elections in the province are just around the corner. He said new electoral boundaries have many flaws.

‘The court had ordered ECP for removing flaws in the constituencies, however ECP has removed the constituencies rather than removing flaws from them, instead the election commissions completely changed local bodies system and terminated councils and towns. This step will disturb upcoming local government elections,’ he said.
