KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to close educational institutions, government offices and inter-city transport in view of surge in coronavirus cases.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting of the provincial coronavirus taskforce here on Monday, in which it was decided to close the government offices. The meeting decided that the secretaries only call their necessary staff to the offices while rest of the employees work from home.

The inter-city transport will be suspended from April 29 in the province, the meeting added. However, the goods transport and the industry will remain opened.

Restrictions have also been imposed on the family visits for meeting with inmates at jails.
