KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed outrage over question of extension in Rangers’ special powers while conducting press conference to congratulate Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Syed Sajjad Ali Shah over safe recovery of his son Awais Ali Shah.

Qaim Ali Shah while answering the question regarding extension in Rangers’ powers alleged the journalist for placing ‘irrelevant’ question as he was conducting the press conference for congratulating CJ SHC over recovery of his son.

Later, the Sindh CM left the press conference without providing any satisfactory answer regarding another extension in Rangers’ authorities.

Earlier, Qaim Ali Shah held meeting with CJ SHC and congratulated him over Awais Shah’s recovery. He praised vital role of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif for Awais’ recovery.

He detailed that a seven-member investigation team is probe into facts to spot flaws as terrorists managed to transfer Awais Shah from Karachi to Tank. He added the investigation team has also include representatives of Inter-Services Intelligence and Military Intelligence (MI).
