KARACHI: The Sindh province budget for 2015-16 will be presented by Sindh Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the provincial assembly on Saturday.
According to sources the budget is likely to have an outlay of Rs7.22 trillion against the previous year’s over Rs6.86 trillion.
The provincial government would present a deficit budget with more than Rs 200 billion allocated for the annual development plan while special packages would also be announced for Tharparkur and Sukkur, sources say.
Out of more than Rs 200 billion for the annual development plan, 75 percent of the amount was allocated for the ongoing schemes while the remaining was allocated for the new schemes.
