KARACHI: The Sindh apex committee meeting on Thursday decided to expedite implementation on National Action Plan. The committee decided to crackdown against financers and abettors of terrorists in Sindh.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah chaired the meeting at Governor House. Director General Rangers Major General bilal Akbar briefed the committee on security operations. The committee was told that a detailed report will be submitted to Sindh government in 15 days regarding the implementation of decisions taken in previous apex committee meetings.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the meeting had decided to take strict action against the financers of terrorists, land grabbers, suspects involved in taking extortion.
He said that banned outfits of Talban were running water hydrants in the city and the money was used in terrorism in the country. Memon said that 48 seminaries were also involved in suspicious activities. Government would check their funding and take action if found any anti state activity in the seminaries.
