KARACHI: Pakistan Tahreek e Insaf MNA Nusrat Wahid has said that the Sindh Governments negligence has turned the City of Karachi into a city of Garbege, in various parts of the city piles of garbage / flowing dirty water sewerage and the roads are inundated with the dirty water and in various parts of the city the dirty water has entered into the houses, which is a very alarming situation, the entire city looks like the ancient city Moen-jo-daro. The mayor of the City and the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah does not care about the city situation. Nusrat Wahid expressed her feelings while visiting Mauripur NA-248 UC-40 cum various parts of the city.
She further said that the water situation is also grave in various parts of the city there is no drinking water and the resident are facing tremendous shortages of water. The water distribution system has also failed and the water & sewerage board performance is zero totally un-satisfactory.
The Sindh Government and the mayor of the city are alleging other departments for this on going situation and due to this the residents of Karachi city are very depressed and disappointed. Nusrat Wahid further said that every year billions of rupees have been transferred to Sindh Government for the Cleanliness of the City, water supplies, but no change has taken place and the situation has now gone from bad to worse. She said that on war footing the garbage must be cleaned from the city, the sewerage lines must be repaired at once enabling the residents of karachi to live in a pollution free environment.
