In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Banihal town of Ramban district in Jammu region against the killing of prominent mujahid commander, Zakir Musa.
All shops, business establishments and schools are closed while local traffic is off the roads in Banihal and its adjoining areas.
The occupation authorities have deployed Indian troops and police personnel in strength in Banihal to prevent demonstrations against the killing.
On other hand, curfew and strict restrictions have been imposed in Srinagar and other districts of Kashmir valley to prevent pro-freedom and anti-India protests over the killing of the mujahid commander.
Indian troops martyred Zakir Musa along with his associate during a cordon and search operation in Dadsara Tral area of Pulwama district, last evening. Zakir Musa an engineering student belonged to a well off family. His father Abdul Rashid Butt is a retired assistant executive engineer. His elder brother Shakir Rashid Butt is an orthopedic surgeon and his sister Shaheena Rashid Butt is a banker.
