Tallahassee: Shots have been fired at Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida, witnesses report.
Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer said in a tweet: “I’m at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Shots have been fired. Everyone is running.”
According to airport sources, “ongoing incident” happened at the baggage claim area in Terminal 2.
According to US media report, at least one person dead and several have been injured but that is unconfirmed.
