KARACHI: A cargo ship, carrying wheat from Russia, caught fire at Karachi Port.
Russia’s MV Royal Jade caught fire at the Berth 16 of the port. The port authorities imposed an emergency after the fire erupted on the vessel.

The operation to douse the fire was commenced at the port.
Sources at the port said that carbide had caught the fire on the ship’s deck.
The added that cargo ship is carrying 57,750 tonnes of wheat.
