SHARJAH: Putting behind what happened in Sharjah match on Sunday, Pakistani cricketers Ahmed Shehzad and Wahab Riaz have wished each other good luck for next matches in Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Ahmed and Wahab were involved in the ugly fight in a group match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.
Opener put his fight on a side and wished his fellow player Wahab Riaz good luck for the upcoming Asia Cup.
“Ahmed Shahzad said small altercations are no big deal. These things happen in the heat of the moment,” said Ahmed Shehzad in a message issued here on Monday.
Ahmed Shehzad said both he and Wahab Riaz should not have reacted the way they did on the field during the match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Sharjah.
He said he is keeping no personal grudges and hopes that Wahab Riaz will play a key role in Pakistan’s success in the upcoming tournament.
On the other hand Wahab said he wish that Ahmed would soon make a comeback in the side.
