Shehzad meets Lahore park blast victims at Jinnah Hospital

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad on Saturday arrived at Jinnah Hospital to meet victims of Lahore park blast that claimed lives of 76 people and left more than 300 injured.

Talking to media, Shehzad said that terrorism is country’s biggest issue which needs to get eliminated as early as possible.

The player appreciated country’s protective measures against terrorism and pledged support with the Pakistan Army.

Ahmed said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is taking steps for the betterment of cricket in the country. He stated that he knows everything but avoids media interaction.
