Shehryar Khan announces future plans of PCB

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shehryar Khan revealed forthcoming plans of internal and external cricket sectors including domestic cricket and restoration of international cricket in the country.

Shehryar Khan while talking to reporters in Lahore said that PCB would now focus on fitness level of cricketers. He said that PCB dispatched letters to all regional coaches to emphasis fitness level of players otherwise hefty fines would be imposed over induction of unfit cricketers.

PCB chairman said that the cricket board has decided to bring major reformations in First Class and domestic-level cricket. He added that major changes will be made for betterment of infra-structure of First Class cricket while ‘quality’ would be prioritise on ‘quantity’.

Shehryar Khan said that cricket must not be mixed with politics, however, it would be quite different scenario if India refused to tour Pakistan due to political influences. He added they are still expecting for a positive reply for a series between Pakistan and India.

He announced to organise Pakistan Super League tournament next year in April. Shehryar said that PCB planned to play cricket outside Pakistan for next two years and later attempts would be made invite foreign teams in the home grounds.
