ISLAMABAD: Former Punjab chief minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s name has been added to the exit control list (ECL) here on Monday.
This was stated by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on his official Twitter account.
کابینہ کی منظوری اور قانونی ضابطے مکمل ہونے پر نون لیگ کے رہنما شہباز شریف کا نام ایگزٹ کنٹرول لسٹ پر ڈال دیا گیا ہے اور متعلقہ ریکارڈ اس ضمن میں اپ ڈیٹ کر دیا گیا ہے

Chaudhry said that the PML-N leader’s name was put on the ECL after the cabinet’s approval and completing all the legal formalities.
All the record related to putting Shehbaz’s name on the no-fly list has been updated, the federal minister said.
Earlier in the day, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed addressing a presser alleged that Shehbaz Sharif had attempted to escape from the country.
He said that the PML-N leader’s name had been added to the ECL and all the aviation and naval organisations had been informed of the decision.
