LAHORE: Former Punjab CM and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has been ordered to appear before a NAB court on January 7, 2010, in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case.
The counsel for Shehbaz Sharif filed a petition seeking exemption for his client. He prayed to the court to postpone the hearing due to a strike being observed by lawyers.
Then, the accountability court adjourned the hearing till Jan 7, 2020.
Earlier in the day, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) obtained a 13-day physical remand of former planning minister Ahsan Iqbal in connection with the Narowal Sports City corruption case.
The former federal minister of PML-N was arrested on Monday from the NAB’s Rawalpindi office.
